Very often we receive inquiries with extraordinary tasks. So also in early 2017:

In one of the largest potassium mines in the world, the workers have to be protected from falling rocks that could fall down through rolling holes on the crest of the mine.

After a previous inspection and clarification of the task it was quickly clear: we can help.

So now it came to a first test under real conditions several hundred meters below the earth's surface:

With a Sewer Sealing Cushion type 1-1200 from our standard delivery program, we closed an approx. 1100mm large rolling hole in a relatively short time. After the Sewer Sealing Cushion was installed in the rolling hole, salt deposits and boulders were thrown over a large distance on top of the Sewer Sealing Cushion. Without any damage and without any signs of displacement, the cushion stopped the falling debris easily.

As a next step, we will modify the final solution even more specifically to make the work even faster and more efficient.

Once again we were able to show here: where there is a will, there is also a way, and even the most unusual tasks are usually easily solvable by us.
